The Last Rite Done Right!

Drying of cow dung under sun takes around 7-8 days, in rains and winters, upto a fortnight. Moreover, continuous production of logs require a huge storage.

Our Technology:

Arth has set up its pilot hub at partner gaushala, comprising of a production unit and drying set-up to make our process weather independent. Along with that, we have developed an efficient storage system to store logs to facilitate a faster and continuous production of Arth logs.

“Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it is the only thing that has.”

Every year, around  8.2 million cremations are held in India, which causes about 16.4 million trees to be cut every year.

Let’s consider another problem:

Every day, 1.6 lac tonnes of cow dung is wasted; thrown into rivers and drains or simply left to decompose.

Our Solution:

Arth uses logs made of biomass fuel consisting primarily of cow dung as use them in place of firewood in cremations. The fuel has been researched and developed in the labs of IIT Delhi to improve the efficiency and fuel combustion properties.
